A warrant of fitness (WoF) is a regular check to make sure that your vehicle meets road safety standards. It is required to have one to drive on the roads. It is your job to make sure that your car always has a valid Warrant of fitness or else you may be penalized to receiving a fine.

When do you need a Warrant?

Vehicles register time

New vehicles that's never been registered
Vehicles that where registered less than 2 years ago
More than 2 years ago but less than 3 years
On or after January 2000
Before January 2000

WoF issue time

Lasts 3 years before needing a new WoF
WoF is issued to vehicles third 'birthday' of when it was registered
WoF is issued for 12 months before needing new WoF
WoF is issued for 12 months before needing a new WoF
WoF is issued for 6 months before needing a new WoF

Do anything you want! We will come to you and you don't have to worry about anything! We will handle everything from start to finish with same day returns.

Talk to our staff about our pick up and return service. You can arrange the location of pick up and drop off without even moving! and leave it to us to handle it for you. We’ll give you a call when everything’s finished and update you on your vehicle.

Major repairs

If your warrant fails and the repairs are large, we will contact you on this before making any repair works to your vehicle.

Minor Repairs

If it’s something small we can usually replace it from anything under 200 dollars of repair work. We will contact you to make sure you are happy with this first.
